2010...the year i label 'The Killer Year'!!! Well, to those who know me and study with me, you'd know why i'd call 2010 'the killer year'...its SPM year for goodness sake! It was all to the books and studying and busy memorizing history. So coming online was very rare and therefore couldn't post about 2010 earlier...now i have the time, so i'm gonna talk about it. 2010 was hell la (sorry to say), but it was a year where fun was restricted, going out with friends and for the weekend was once in a 'blue moon' and coming online and watching TV was very rare...all i could do was stay at home and study...there was a lot of complaining from me, but guess i couldn't do much except follow orders and....STUDY! =( It wasn't fun at all...was expecting that to happen already. So there are times where i couldn't concentrate and would cry on my books out of frustration and tiredness....but dad would come in and say, ''It's okay, dear, everything will be over soon. Just stay focus and pray always for guidance and wisdom. Pay attention in class, don't be lazy and don't be careless.'' I always kept that in mind. So throughout the year, i was busy with studying, marching for Clare(blue) house for Sports Day, and being a mentor for my mentee in the Prefectorial board. So 2010 was stress also for me...a lot of performances and retirements to sing for and tonnes of homework to do..and at the same time, keeping up with studies and curricular performances. Guess i had to sacrifice everything for SPM...but i guess it'll be worth it.
God bless me and those who sat for the SPM examinations in 2010. =)

School Final Exams Are The Real Murderers!
Being in school is sometimes fun and exciting; meeting new people, and the activities. But the one thing that all students have in common is SITTING FOR EXAMINATIONS!! No doubt for that! Even the smartest students in the whole wide world do admit once that sometimes, they hate sitting for examinations wherever. Well, my school final examinations are already here...4 whole weeks of agony and suffering, and not having any fun at all. Only 2 weeks have passed and another 2 weeks to go...it take a whole month just to sit for an examination. Wow! SPM is even worse...hahahaha. I do wonder how the Form 5 students manage to hold on until the end. Maybe they shared the same thoughts as I do, once. Well, I am in Form 4 and I am already struggling to hold on. I will be sitting for my SPM examinations next year, 2010... and I already feel like dying of the suffering and stress that we have to go through.
Sometimes I do wonder too why do exams exists? Some people tell me that it is used to help students understand their syllabus better, improve and learn from the mistakes done in the exams...whereas others tell me that it is one of the ways the government and the school teachers use to 'abuse and torture' students to squeeze information out of their brains. That is why some students swallow what they learn and vomit all out on the exam papers on the examination day, maybe its because they don't have the interest to study at all and they are forced to sit for the examination just to pass and get into college...but after that, they forget everything they've learnt and are blank... Well, I used to think that examinations were used to 'abuse and torture' me but then I realized that examinations are really there to make us learn from our mistake in the previous exams and understand our syllabus better. And we do go to school to learn something new, about the world, for instance, and from there, we use the knowledge to improve the world and create something new for the benefit of mankind.
So, now I think I will change my thoughts of the negativity of examinations to the positive side of it...I am still struggling to hold on but I have found ways to study better. One of the ways is MIND-MAPPING!!! It really helps. Anyway, I do hope I can score well and maintain my first position in class again this year. I am praying really hard! God bless me! CHS Band Concert!!!
OMG!!! The Catholic High School Band concert was a total success...it was held on the 25th of July 2009 at the Brother Phillipe Wu Hall in the school. They played very well...mostly songs composed by Japanese composers...yet very fascinating...I loved it...they also played a few of Andrew Loyd Webber's production such as The Phantom Of The Opera, Cats, etc... I couldn't sleep all night, thinking about how great the concert was...every member of the band put in 100% (or maybe even more than that) effort into playing and organizing this concert. It was so so awesome I can say...I just love the band...the band does very well in marching as well as in playing too. No doubt that they win competitions every year...they're just so so awesome... I know I'm crapping to much, but it's one of the best performances I have ever attended so far. There was no regret in attending the concert though the ticket price was a little demanding for a school level but satisfaction guaranteed I can say...lol. I learned something from the concert....team work, loads and loads of practice, great effort, and never give up in doing something right.haha... that's all for now.

I'M A NEW PREFECT!!!!
Haha....those who know me quite well would be surprised to see me getting installed as a school prefect. With my 'not so good' attitude, you wouldn't expect me to become a prefect. But unfortunately, turning your expectations the other way around...I'm a school prefect...and what's more shocking is that I'M A DISCIPLINE OFFICER of prefects in the prefectorial board.hahahahaha....that really shocked the world....my friends nearly fainted when they heard... I nearly got a heart-attack when I was announced as the discipline officer. I wasn't really confident whether I will get any post when I went for the previous meeting that was held last week. But when I heard about it, my heart fell like an anchor into the sea...haha. I could hardly believe my ears....I even had to ask my friend who was sitting next to me for reassurance.hmmm....okay la then. I'm willing to take responsibilities then, since people are willing to entrust me with a post with heavy duty. I made myself a promise on that day itself, which forever I will keep....do the best you can in carrying out my responsibilities as a prefect to become a good role model to others. Thank you those who have gone through alot of risks and thinking in selecting me to become the discipline officer. I'm really grateful and will show my endless gratitude by carrying out my responsibilities well....so that's my story of my success so far...and again, I got the first place in my class for the mid-year examination. I hope I will maintain that position in the class for the end of the year. EUPHONIUM ROCKS!!!!

Back to Studying(Tuition)
Haha.....since PMR is over, I don't plan of going out anywhere specifically but I do want to have some fun a little. Like chatting a lot online and all. But it seems like I'll have to go for tuition starting from November onwards till I don't know when. Haha. Form 4 syllabus is coming into my head already and it looks hard but when you do it and you practise it(especially maths), it seems fine. I'm only going for maths tuition now and I don't think I want to go for any other subjects.I want to try to study on my own(with a little help from my sister).lol.So yeah, besides maths, I 'm also reading the Form 4 novel that is 'Bukit Kepong'. Its very interesting! Once you get your hands on the book and start reading it, you'll never be able to get your hands and eyes(concentration) off the book. Because I didn't get to let go of the book. So yeah, reading is cool but it also depends on how and which books you read. I prefer books like biography of someone and also a little of comics and adventures and all but at this age, I should be reading historical books *but not interested though*. But still, coming back to studying, I still have alot to read about the history of Malaysia and all.lol. So yeah, I shall not abandon my books from now on till SPM is over(that is in two years time). But for now, I shall continue to have a little fun chatting online and going shopping.

Life After PMR
My life after PMR is the most boring life this year, 2008! There is nothing left to do at school although the school have provided some activities after the major exam but still...so boring. My parents don't let me out of the house to hang out with my friends, so the only place I get to go out to is school and my church that I always go to during the weekends. That's all...so boring...Now, the only thing I can do now, is just start studying Form 4 syllabus and go online everyday. Isn't that boring to you...?At least Blogger helps me to share my feelings with everyone so that they know how it feels like after sitting for a major exam two months before the end-of-the-year school holidays.
